Throughout my twenty year career as an assistant public defender, a prosecutor, and in private practice as a criminal defense and child welfare attorney, I have learned that justice is not "one size fits all". Justice must be fair, thoughtful, and informed by a deep understanding of criminal law and the human stories behind every case.
I believe judges should be more than legal experts—they should be leaders who bring integrity, balance, and empathy to the bench.
