Hi, I’m Madeline Smith, Treasurer of the Young Democrats of Georgia Rural Caucus.


In 2022 and 2024, I ran for Georgia House District 158—and saw up close how rural communities are too often ignored by both Republicans and Democrats. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to shift the focus from just metro Atlanta to the rural South.


The Young Democrats of Georgia share that mission. By supporting our caucus, you’re helping us spark political engagement in rural areas, build support systems for future candidates, and empower young people to stay involved in shaping Georgia’s future.
