I’ve dedicated my career as a front-line social worker serving our most under-resourced families. As a Somerville Public School mom, a daughter of an immigrant born and raised in Somerville, and lifelong union activist, I believe in bringing our community together to solve our most difficult problems:
Tackling the affordable housing crisis to keep families in Somerville
Ensuring every child has access to quality public schools
Securing good union jobs with local hire and protecting workers rights
I’ve seen firsthand the consequences of empty platitudes and unresponsive government for families and children in crisis. I am committed to ensuring that our city policies have a real positive impact on our community. Now more than ever, we need elected leaders who are responsive and get the job done, which is why I am running for City Council.
