My name is Nico Parra, and I'm running to be the next State Representative in House District 109. This includes parts of the cities of Lawrenceville, Duluth, Lilburn, and Norcross.
Coming from a working-class family, I know the difficulties our communities are facing with the price of housing, healthcare, food, and utilities. As your State Representative, I will tackle our affordability crisis head-on.
As a product of Gwinnett County Public Schools, I understand the value of well-funded public education and will continue to advocate for our students.
Working multiple jobs, I’m well aware of the struggles everyday Georgians face paying their bills. In the Georgia General Assembly, I’ll support legislation to increase the minimum wage to $20/hour by 2030 and defend labor unions.
