I’m running for Georgia State Superintendent of Schools because every child no matter their zip code deserves a real chance to succeed. I believe in universal preschool, so kids start school ready to learn. I will work to reduce our over reliance on high-stakes testing and refocus classrooms on learning and restoring trust in educators. I will collaborate with legislators and local community leaders to strengthen rural Georgia by expanding broadband, career pathways, and access to advanced course work. This campaign is about building a public school system that works for all of Georgia’s students, families, and communities.
