I was raised in this community. I am the woman I am today because of the people who helped raise me.


I learned how to work hard and dream big, to lend a hand and stand up for what’s right. 


Everything I’ve done since is built on those values.


Whether it’s fighting for underserved neighborhoods at City Hall or giving my time to the next generation of leaders through volunteer work MANA de San Diego, giving back is front and center to everything I do.
