Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
Contributions to The Bench Fund will be allocated as follows
Contributions will be allocated equally among Ager for Congress, Brooks for Congress, Cait for New York, Mike for Tennessee, Sarah for Iowa, Matt Maasdam for Congress, Darren McAuley for Congress, Denise for Congress, Josh Turek for Iowa, Talarico for Texas, Bobby Pulido for Texas, Shannon Bird for Congress, McMorrow for Michigan (each a “Candidate Committee”), and the federal PAC of The Bench. Notwithstanding the forgoing, the first $3,500/$5,000 of a person/PAC’s contribution to each Candidate Committee will be allocated for use in the candidate’s primary election; the next $3,500/$5,000 of a person/PAC’s contribution to each Candidate Committee will be allocated for use in the candidate’s general election; however, if a candidate’s primary election has already occurred, the first $3,500/$5,000 of a person/PAC’s contribution to each Candidate Committee will be allocated for use in the candidate’s general election. All amounts in excess of the applicable contribution limits to the Candidate Committees will be allocated to the contribution account of The Bench, up to the $5,000 per year, per donor limit.
Any contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant by contacting info@thebench.org. The allocation formula above may change if any contributor makes a contribution that, when allocated, would exceed the amount that the contributor may lawfully give to any participant.
