In a time when racist authoritarian rule fueled by billionaires is sweeping the nation, Zohran Mamdani’s win in the New York City mayoral primary was a sign of hope for our movements. Running on a working class, anti-racist agenda, his platform centers making New York City more affordable while fighting for trans rights, Palestinian liberation, and against anti-Semitism.
SURJ will be door knocking and phone banking to elect a mayor that will make New York City more livable for working people, and to build on the momentum of Democratic candidates that have a vision of liberation, safety, and prosperity for ALL people.
We’re asking that you make a contribution to this effort that is meaningful to you and helps prove that Mamdani’s agenda is one that NYC deserves, and one we can all get behind in the coming elections.
