As someone who has been a part of Albany's community for nearly 30 years and raised my four children in Albany's schools, I am invested in making sure our schools succeed. Here's what I believe:
School safety. Students, educators, and staff deserve safe and welcoming schools. If elected, I will focus on finding real solutions instead of doing the bare minimum.
Special Education. As a mom of four, including a child with disabilities, I believe education should be accessible to all and that no one should be left out. If elected, I will fight to make sure everyone has a seat at the table.
Communication. Students, families, educators, and staff deserve to be heard. As a board member, I will listen.
Mental Health Support. I know what it's like to have a child with school-related anxiety. I believe supporting the mental and physical well-being of students, educators, and staff will decrease student absenteeism and improve learning outcomes.
Together, we can be the force for change that builds our schools stronger!
