Tanmay Shah is running for Cleveland City Council in Ward 12 to fight for the working class. He is a union organizer, lawyer, and truck driver who wants every single Clevelander to have affordable housing, access to healthy food, and reliable city services.
Meet Tanmay
Tanmay Shah is a Jefferson neighborhood homeowner and a proud immigrant from India who has called Northeast Ohio home for 15 years. Tanmay has a proven record of fighting for the working class in Cleveland—from defending tenants against unethical landlords in housing court to organizing a union at the fifth oldest legal aid organization in the United States. Instead of investing in affordable housing, food access, and city services (like composting and public transit), City Hall has prioritized stadiums, tax breaks, and luxury development for the wealthy. Tanmay believes our city government can improve our lives and help our neighborhoods prosper. He will fight to make Cleveland work for the working class.
Contribute
Tanmay is committed to a grassroots campaign for the working class by the working class. He will never accept contributions from corporations, real estate developers, or dark money PACs. In order to make Cleveland work for the working class, our campaign’s goal is to reach every single person in the ward. Help us buy mailers, yard signs, host events and more by contributing today.
