Help Secure Progress flip the US House

Secure Progress is Dan Helmer’s leadership PAC. After unseating a 17 year Republican incumbent in 2019, Dan was elected to the House of Delegates where he now serves as Delegate for the 10th District. Dan is the Campaigns Chair of the Virginia House Democratic Caucus, and in 2023 he successfully led the effort to flip Virginia House – the first time the party without the governor’s mansion picked up seats in the General Assembly in 50 years. Dan fought to retake the House majority, protect a woman’s right to choose, ensure access to affordable healthcare, reduce gun violence, and stop lenders from preying upon students and service members.

Dan is the grandson of Holocaust survivors, the son of immigrants, a West Point graduate, Rhodes Scholar, and a veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan. Today, he remains a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army Reserve and helps run a small business that ensures veterans have access to high-quality healthcare. He lives with his wife Karen, a public school teacher, and their two boys in Fairfax, VA.

Your contribution will go to Secure Progress which will help protect the majority in the Virginia House, as well as help critical seats in federal elections.
