You may have heard over the last year that I’m running for City Council. The question I get asked most often is: “Why?”

There are many reasons, but one guiding principle stands above the rest: Making sure Healdsburg remains the city we all love and are proud to call home. Another — and perhaps the most important — is this: By serving in local government, I can represent you as well as my District in decisions that directly impact the future of our community, both inside and beyond our city limits. At a time when protecting our core values matters more than ever, thoughtful and accountable leadership is essential.

That’s why I’m asking for your support.

Asking for money does not come naturally to me. But campaigns — even local campaigns here in Healdsburg — require real resources to reach voters and build momentum. As importantly, your contribution demonstrates confidence in my campaign and helps show other supporters and endorsers that this movement is backed by the community.
