We provide individualized support and strategic guidance to progressive school board candidates nationwide because well-run down-ballot campaigns and electing powerful local leadership are crucial in the fight for public education.
School board leaders remain one of the last lines of defense against extremist efforts to undermine public education, ban books, rewrite history, and erode the rights of students, teachers, staff, and families. The School Board Project is working to elect more leaders who will keep students at the core of their mission and be defenders against extremist agendas that threaten the well-being of school communities and the rights of all who learn and work there.
