I didn’t plan to get into this race, but when I scanned the field and weighed the consequences, I knew it was time. I've never been more riled up! Send me to the Texas House to go on offense.

I'm not hearing enough of an uproar from Democratic leadership — when state infrastructure fails and lives are lost in freezes and floods, when school kids are too hungry to learn, when working people are paid lower wages for longer hours, when seniors and veterans are living under bridges, when families have to choose between paying the electric bill and buying groceries…

I'll put the shameful, hateful un-Christian behavior of the radical MAGA bullies under the spotlight until their faces are as red as their stupid hats.

We have to do a better job as Democrats, making our case to the people of Texas... I'm a working class progressive leader and a new voice with the energy and the audacity to shift public opinion and build toward gains in every election.

That's my agenda, and here's what it's going to take: Send me to the Texas House to be your voice. I promise to raise a ruckus that can't be ignored.
