I received disappointing news today. The Arizona Supreme Court dismissed my appeal because I could not obtain the original hearing transcripts in time. I have literally spent my every waking moment outside of my regular work researching and writing my briefs for this appeal. It was not made clear to me that this was a procedural requirement to have my brief read. Although I provided the evidence, statutes, and precedent to back every assertion and explained why the transcripts of the hearing were irrelevant due to the court's duty to enforce the statute, the court did not reach the merits of my arguments.
