Roberge, his wife Kate, and their two young children reside in West Normal. He works at State Farm as an Auto Insurance Underwriter, and he serves on the McLean County Regional Planning Commission as a representative for the Town of Normal.
Roberge has dedicated his life to public service. After graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy, he served for over 13 years in the U.S. Navy. In 2021, he mobilized to support Operation Inherent Resolve in Kuwait, Iraq, and Syria, and he concluded his service as a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy Reserve this past year. Besides his military service, Rory also earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 2005, and frequently donates blood products to the American Red Cross.
