I am an army veteran, a retired educator, an author, and a proud grandparent (Pa-Pa Robert) of 3 lovely young children. I am a graduate of Tougaloo College, Webster University, and Jackson State University. I am not running for office to join the system — I’m running to change it! I am stepping up because the newly created District 2 (DeSoto and Tunica Counties) deserves leadership that sees everyone, not just the privileged few. I am running to give District 2 the voice we were denied for too long. It’s time to elect someone who thinks like us, lives like us, and fights for us. Mississippi runs on work. I see you! I am running for you so that you can have a voice in Jackson that will give you the respect and support you deserve.
