Hello Friends -

Here we are. I am now in my second term in the Michigan House and I feel so much gratitude. I want to thank you for who you are and who we have been as a community since I first took on this job.

We as a community want and demand better. We are bolder than the norm and thank goodness, because the world needs unapologetic progress. The people are rising up and demanding courage, ethics, transparency and accountability. We are holding the line on the humane treatment of our neighbors. We are fighting for a true representative democracy where the people, not billionaires, steer our priorities and where fairness exists for all. 

We are fighting for stability in our daily lives. Access to food, water, shelter, strong public schools, and equality. We are fighting for compassion as a baseline.

I need your help. I know I can't do this alone.

I need us to show that we are in this together. I need you to give what you can and I need you to ask others to do the same. We are modeling a brighter way forward and we know our message and vision will resonate with our neighbors. We just have to get the message out there.

More and better, that’s the bare minimum. It is who we are and what we bring. We make a great team and we aren’t going anywhere.
