Pat Halpin is a lifelong Long Islander who gets things done.
Elected to the Suffolk County Legislature at just 26, he went on to break barriers as the first Democrat in over 100 years to represent his Assembly district. Pat was then elected Suffolk County Executive, where he expanded housing options for families and veterans, launched community-based policing and anti-domestic violence programs, and partnered with schools to bring drug education into classrooms.
As Chair of the Suffolk County Water Authority, he protected clean, affordable drinking water for over a million residents—while cutting waste, boosting transparency, and working closely with law enforcement to protect public health. Pat also led one of the nation’s most respected open space preservation efforts, safeguarding parks and natural lands for future generations.
From local government to regional infrastructure, he’s consistently delivered results—without partisanship.
Now, Pat's running for Congress to deliver real results - just like he always has.
