Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
Contributions to Pappas Cooper Victory Fund will be allocated as follows:
The first $14,000/$20,000 of each contribution from an individual/multicandidate PAC will be split evenly between Chris Pappas for Senate and Cooper for North Carolina (each a “candidate”). The first $3,500/$5,000 of an individual’s/multicandidate committee's contribution to each committee will be designated to the primary election; the second $3,500/$5,000 will be designated to the general election unless the primary election has already occurred, in which case the contribution will be considered designated only to the general election. Any of these funds that would result in an excessive contribution for Chris Pappas for Senate will be allocated to the New Hampshire Democratic Party; any of these funds that would result in an excessive contribution to Cooper for North Carolina will be allocated to the North Carolina Democratic Party. The next $20,000/$10,000 of each contribution from an individual/multicandidate PAC will be split evenly between the New Hampshire Democratic Party and North Carolina State Democratic Party.
Any contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant by contacting pappas@mbacg.com. The allocation formula above may change if any contributor makes a contribution that, when allocated, would exceed the amount that the contributor may lawfully give to any participant.
