OUTLoud Inc is an LGBTQ+ center located in Marathon County Wisconsin. We are a primarily rural area with limited resources,especially for LGBTQ+ youth.
The United States has witnessed a disturbing rise in anti-LGBTQ rhetoric in recent years. This alarming trend presents in various forms, including discriminatory legislation, hateful public discourse, and increased instances of violence and harassment targeting LGBTQ individuals.
The consequences of this rhetoric are far-reaching, creating a climate of fear and anxiety for LGBTQ people, hindering their access to equal opportunities, and ultimately undermining the progress made towards inclusivity and acceptance.
Wisconsin, and specifically Marathon County, have not been immune to the effects.
