In a political landscape often overshadowed by conservative influences, Oklahomans for Democracy (OK4D) stands as a beacon for progressive values and democratic principles. Founded in 2023 and rooted in Oklahoma City, OK4D is dedicated to reshaping the state's political future through strategic candidate recruitment, financial support, and voter education.​

Our Mission

At OK4D, we believe that true democracy thrives when every voice is heard and represented. Our mission is to:​

  • Recruit Authentic Candidates: We actively seek out individuals who genuinely reflect the diverse communities of Oklahoma. By breaking down traditional barriers, we empower passionate leaders to step forward and serve.​
  • Provide Financial Support: Recognizing the financial challenges many progressive candidates face, we strive to level the playing field. Our efforts focus on eliminating monetary obstacles, ensuring that lack of funds doesn't hinder dedicated individuals from running successful campaigns.​
  • Educate the Electorate: In an era rife with misinformation, we are committed to delivering accurate, research-based information to voters. Through targeted campaigns and outreach, we aim to inform the public about candidates and issues, fostering a well-informed electorate.​
