I’m running for Everett City Council because I believe in policy that matches our values. As a gun violence prevention advocate, community organizer, and the product of a middle class Black family impacted by housing injustice, I’ve seen the consequences of inaction — and I refuse to let our city repeat outdated mistakes.
My platform is clear: we need housing with wraparound services, investments in youth job training, real accountability and prevention strategies for public safety, and bold investment in walkable, transit-connected communities. I support community-rooted housing projects like HopeWorks, common-sense gun safety like firearm permitting and safety training, and urbanist infrastructure like bike lanes and pedestrian bridges across Highway 99.
Everett is ready for new leadership — the kind that listens, learns, and engages...in that order. This campaign is community-centered and people powered, and we plan on taking that energy all the way to city hall.
In order to accomplish this, we rely on you to help build the movement we need to win. If you believe Everett’s future should be inclusive, sustainable, and just — donate now. Together, we can shape a city that works for everyone.
