As-salamu alaykum, in 2025, so far MUPAC has accomplished the following:
New York, Zohran Mamdani - Our board members took over his relational organizing program on REACH. Board members grew his network to 50,000 voters, 1600 active volunteers, and multiplied his voter contact on REACH 8x.
MUPAC board members are also coordinating 10 fundraisers in Texas for Zohran at the end of August.
Texas, S.B. 326 – MUPAC secured a free speech amendment to the IHRA antisemitism in schools bill in Texas. This will protect students from punishment, should they protest the actions of the Israeli Government in Gaza
Congress, Currently advocating for:
- S.J. Res. 59 – Iran War Powers Resolution
- H.Con. Res. 38 – Iran War Powers Resolution
- S. 2087 – No War with Iran Act
- S. Res. 224 – Gaza Humanitarian Aid Resolution
- H. Res. 473 - Gaza Humanitarian Aid Resolution
- H.R. 3565 – Block the Bombs Act
2024 Accomplishments:
- MUPAC raised over $200,000 for Jamaal Bowman, Rashida Tlaib, Summer Lee, and Cori Bush.
- Prevented Josh Shapiro from becoming the Vice Presidential nominee
- Passed 8 cease-fire resolutions at various state democratic parties
- Passed the most pro-Palestine platform at the Texas Democratic Party State Convention
- Organized 300 cease-fire delegates at the DNC
- Engaged with over 200 state and local candidates to address our issues.
