Following months of research, reflection, and conversations across our community, I've decided to officially run for the Ward 6 City Council seat. For the past twenty years, machine politics have dictated the direction of our Ward - often at the expense of real accountability, transparency, and responsiveness to our neighborhoods. It's time for a new chapter.
With the recent approval of the RFK Stadium redevelopment and new investments flowing into D.C., and the issue of public safety continuing to loom, we cannot afford leadership that fails to recognize the urgency of this moment. I'm prepared to act on reimagining the future of our city through transparency, accountability, and pragmatic progress on public safety, housing, opportunity & salient solutions to the every day issues we face.
Let's move #ForWard6, together.
