In 2025, we made history by electing the first Democratic majority in Dutchess County since 2009. I'm proud to serve that majority as Assistant Majority Leader, and we've hit the ground running.
Here's what your support has already made possible:
- Saved our county bus line after Republicans announced its cancellation, keeping transit running for working families across the county
- Expanded mental health services in northwest Dutchess, putting hundreds of thousands of dollars into care for our neighbors
- Continued funding to reduce ambulance response times throughout the county, because where you live shouldn't determine whether help arrives in time
- Doubled the housing trust fund allocation to $2 million and passed a homeless grant program to help keep families housed in their own communities
- Voted 20-0 to oppose a federal immigration detention facility that would have strained our hospitals, emergency services, and schools
- Introduced a resolution to support the MELT Act that will require federal agents to wear visible uniforms and identify themselves, because accountability isn't optional in a democracy
While Washington wages war on immigrants, public services, and the rule of law, Dutchess County is fighting back. That work doesn't stop.
I love representing Red Hook, Tivoli, and northern Rhinebeck, and I'm just getting started. Help me keep this seat, protect our majority, and keep delivering for our community.
Whatever you can give makes a difference. Let's keep going.
