I’m Robert Moxley, an honorably discharged U.S. Navy veteran and nonprofit leader. I’m a candidate for Wilson County Commission, District 2, focused on practical local governance and transparent communication with residents. Your donation keeps this a grassroots campaign, not a PAC project.
I’m running to keep Wilson County’s focus on people and everyday needs. Here’s a brief overview of my priorities.
Affordability: Focus county decisions on protecting families’ cost of living (tax impact, fees, and long-term infrastructure costs).
Smart growth: Plan for growth so roads, schools, emergency services, and utilities keep pace—not fall behind.
Infrastructure basics: Prioritize roads, traffic safety, and core maintenance with clear timelines and measurable outcomes.
Schools and youth: Treat school capacity and student needs as a central part of growth planning and budgeting.
Transparency: Make county decisions easier to follow with plain-language explanations, linked source documents, and clear tradeoffs.
Fiscal responsibility: Evaluate spending and “Tax Abatement agreements” with clear criteria, real costs/benefits, and accountability.
Quality of life: Protect and expand parks, recreation, and community spaces that make Wilson County a good place to live.
