I am running for Town Commissioner in Nags Head, and I need your help.
We can preserve the town’s character and quality of life, but it will take vigilance and work. Higher densities and relaxing our standards are paths we cannot take: We must balance responsible growth with strong infrastructure and environmental and water-quality protections. Our decisions should reflect the vision of our community as it was laid out in the 2017 FOCUS Nags Head Comprehensive Plan and echoed in the 2023 Community Survey. Growth has a place here, but it should be measured and not come at the cost of our character.
