My experience as chair of the Medford Charter Study Committee inspired me to run for City Council. I believe in smart housing and commercial development, safe streets, green initiatives, dynamic arts and culture, thriving small businesses, mixed transportation options, flourishing schools, accessible spaces, and adequate city services. Now more than ever, we need to value all of our neighbors, welcoming and listening to each other with openness and curiosity, so that even in the absence of unanimous agreement on every issue and outcome, every voice feels heard. For me, showing up is the first step. My pledge to you: to be the best listener I can be, to do my homework, and to care.
