Mayor Kobi • Black. On Purpose.

With a population that is 93 percent American African, South Fulton, Georgia is the Blackest City in the United States. Mayor Kobi — America's first #BlackLivesMatter organizer elected Mayor and the first Socialist Mayor of a large city in 90 years — is on a mission to make America's Blackest City an international hub for Black commerce and economic independence.

With the campaign slogan Black on Purpose, this Working Families Party member has been a leading voice on restorative economic, housing and justice policies. Now he's running for re-election against a rising tide of fascism and anti-Black, Trump-era policies.
