Luis Garcia is a retired 28 year firefighter. He is a 59-year-old, lifelong South Floridian who has dedicated his entire life to public and community service. He has won many awards for these efforts. He has owned a business.
For 10 years, he has protested toe to toe and nose to nose against Proud Boys & OathKeepers attempting to suppress south Florida Democratic voters during election cycles.

He founded and led the first 2 antiTrump protests in Palm Beach County on November 9 and November 16 of 2016. He has been protesting ever since at the street level on every imaginable social justice issue.
He created and runs an ICE watch Legal Observer team, and THE EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM for the largest anti-Trump protests in Florida. At the Palm Beach Gardens Protest, they had over 12,000 attendees, at No Kings 3.0
His life motto is his campaign motto: “Every Person Matters.”
After being punched, knocked to the ground and having urine and feces, dumped on him for protesting.; Luis hopes to return civility, propriety and decorum to the noble profession of serving in elected office. ONE ELECTED OFFICIAL AT A TIME!

PERSONAL
I'm a retired 28 year firefighter/paramedic, a former business owner, a property restoration industry professional and a lifelong South Floridian. I have two adult sons and a girlfriend of five years. I enjoy hustle dancing and helping others.
I am fluent in French and Spanish. I grew up in extreme poverty in a Miami home filled with great love and moral values. Originally from Colombia, I became a naturalized citizen after serving in the Marines. I have two sisters and a brother. I am divorced. During my life, I have owned dogs, cats, birds, fish and even a horse!
As a Roman Catholic, I am a mainstream/ middle of the road proponent in my conservative Democratic political views.

I have been leading and organizing antiTrump protests across SoFLA for 10 years.
Nine years ago, I founded a 501c3 which has saved over 500 people all across the USA with NARCAN.
I am the Emergency Response Team Coordinator for the largest No Kings Protest (Palm Beach Gardens) held in Florida.
I founded and run an ICE Watch Legal Observer Team responding in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach & Martin Counties.
ALTRUISM is the guiding light of my life. Since adolescence, I have actively volunteered as a Guardian Angel, Police & Fire Explorer Scout, CPR/First Aid/AED instructor and child safety seat technician.
