Donate to a Running Start for Democratic 2026 Primary Candidates in LaPorte County

In 2026, about 100 elected positions will be on the ballot in LaPorte County. Those races will help determine if we have a robust, fair and inclusive democracy here at home.


Energetic Primaries build the support for electoral success in November. But seed money is a big obstacle for Primary candidates. The LaPorte County Democratic Party itself cannot provide any.


Democratic Activists of LaPorte County think outside the box. We have launched our RUNNING START FUND. It will provide seed money to local Democratic Primary candidates. 


And the fine print: Democratic Activists of LaPorte County have registered as a Political Action Committee with the Indiana Secretary of State. Accountability and transparency build trust.

 

Contribution rules

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  3. If this contribution is made with a corporate card, I certify that it is within the legal limits for corporate contributions.
  4. I am at least eighteen years old.
All proceeds go to qualified LPC Democratic 2026 Primary candidates.
