Rural Districts Need a Voice—But First, I Need to Reach Them

My name is Lorie Wood. I'm running for State Board of Education District 5 because our kids deserve better—better pay for their teachers, living wages for paraprofessionals, real support for special needs students, and schools that prepare them for whatever path they choose. But here's the reality: District 5 is huge. To run a real campaign that reaches every community, I need to visit each county multiple times. That means driving thousands of miles across rural Kansas, printing and mailing information to voters who deserve to know where I stand, and showing up in person to listen to teachers, parents, and students.

Our rural schools can't wait. Our teachers can't wait. Our students can't wait.

Let's do this together. Thank you for donating!
