If you live in Minnesota, the first $75 that you contribute each year ($150 per couple) to a campaign like ours is fully refundable under the state’s Political Contribution Refund Program. We will mail you a receipt (Form EP-3), which you may submit to the state to obtain the refund. (Note that this is separate from your other tax filings; you don’t need to wait until the following year to file.)
Contribution rules
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
Contributions to political campaigns are not tax-deductible. Contributions are limited to $1,000 per individual per two-year election cycle (through 2024 for this cycle).
