Donate to Liz for Gunnison County

In my first term in office, Gunnison County has delivered on huge projects to support workforce housing: In Gunnison, Sawtooth (50 units) are expected to be completed this January, and Paintbrush Apartments delivered 76 units in 2021.

The Whetstone development just south of Crested Butte on Highway 135 has plans for 250+ units. Of the $28 million the state awarded in its first round of the Transformational Housing Grant program, Gunnison County received $10 million – more than 1/3 of the funds for the entire state. US Department of Transportation just awarded Gunnison County $15.2 million for safety improvements along HW 135, including the Brush Creek intersection roundabout with safe pedestrian access for the Whetstone housing project.

I hope to earn the support of our community to continue working on issues like essential housing. Will you help by making a campaign contribution?
