I’m Leigh. I’m running the Minnesota House of Representatives in district 66A.


I’m running to become the first transgender legislator in the state of Minnesota because I’m committed to protecting my community. My community in Saint Paul, and the Twin Cities. And for the trans, queer, and gender non-conforming community that I am so blessed to be a part of.


I care deeply about the trans and gender non-conforming young people in our state, and I am seriously concerned by the rising anti-trans forces that are gathering at the state capitol. But I'm also a parent to two grade-schoolers, and I'm seriously concerned about education after COVID, as well as the mental health crises that is affecting Millennials and our children.


I believe that Minnesota can be a place where every person can thrive. But if that’s going to happen, we all need to have a seat at the table.
