Campaigns cost money. I wish they didn't, but here we are. I'm passing the hat like a banjo player at a bluegrass jam.
Believe me, if there was a way to run a campaign on good intentions and stubborn optimism, I’d already have this thing squared away. But yard signs don’t grow on trees, postcards don’t print themselves, and the US Postal Service insists on being paid in actual dollars instead of homemade sourdough bread.
So I'll do what other grassroots candidates have done -- rely on folks who believe in what we’re trying to do here. If you can spare a few dollars to help this campaign along, I’d be grateful.
What Your Donation Helps Cover
Even small donations go a long way in a local race.
$5 -- Covers printing costs for a stack of postcards
$10 to $15 -- Pays for door-to-door canvassing flyers
$25 -- Puts a yard sign in the wild
$50 -- Helps me annoy voters on Facebook
Most folks chip in $10 to $25 to help power this campaign, but every single dollar helps us reach a few more neighbors.
And if you can’t donate right now, that’s okay too. Sharing the campaign with friends and showing up to vote helps just as much.
Thanks so much for your support!
