Counties are often an invisible layer of government, mandated by the state to deliver programs that directly affect our lives including human services and public safety. I am running for reelection to continue providing oversight on these critical responsibilities and to build on the progress we are making. As a local nonprofit volunteer coordinator and a brain cancer survivor, I bring a strong connection to the community and a unique perspective to the board.
A recent article from the Wisconsin Counties Association noted that trust grows when people feel connected. As even local, nonpartisan issues become more divisive, your support helps ensure we continue working toward connection and common ground. There is much to celebrate in our work so far, from implementing a Strategic Plan that better supports staff to connecting neighbors with services through Pathways Home. I remain committed to engaging in good faith, thoughtful conversations on complex issues.
Thank you for your generous support and for helping set a positive example for productive public discourse.
