I am a lifelong resident of Minneapolis with deep roots in Ward 8—my commitment to this community runs generations deep. I grew up attending Minneapolis Public Schools, inspired from an early age by my mother’s dedication as a union member. That inspiration led me to join my first union picket line in middle school, sparking a lifelong passion for advocacy and service.
My journey has taken me from active involvement in the DFL party—where I served as a Precinct Chair—to working as a Union Business Agent and Organizer, always fighting to ensure fair treatment and empowerment for workers. Today, I work in Artificial Intelligence at Thomson Reuters, where I blend my grassroots activism with innovative problem-solving to tackle complex challenges.
Together with my wife, I am proud to be raising our family in the very community that shaped me, with our children attending Minneapolis Public Schools. My dedication to this neighborhood extends beyond our home; I have served as Board President of the Lyndale Neighborhood Association and coached youth sports, always striving to foster connection and opportunity for everyone.
I am running for Minneapolis City Council in Ward 8 to bring pragmatic, common-sense leadership that will build a stronger and more resilient city. My campaign focuses on public safety, affordable housing, and economic opportunity. I believe that by working together, we can create a Minneapolis where every resident feels safe, supported, and empowered.
I invite you to join me in this vision. With your support, we can make Minneapolis a thriving community for all.
