Our community continues to be under attack under the current President, and the hate for our community nationwide started with policies written and passed here in Florida. While our state is home to many members of the LGBTQ community, politicians across the state have targeted our most marginalized because they believe we cannot fight back.
We must fight back!
Protecting every member of the LGBTQA+ community is not a partisan issue in Miami-Dade County. Many public servants on both sides of the aisle have publicly supported our issues in the past. But, Republican elected officials have shied away from that support publicly because it is not part of the current Republican Party agenda. That is why it is more critical now than ever to be present and to push back!
