I’m John McAuliff, and as I prepare for my 2027 reelection campaign, I’m proud to continue serving Virginia’s 30th House District. Our victory in 2025 was powered by your hard work, grit, and belief in this campaign—and now, we need to build on that foundation by strengthening our off-year fundraising program so we’re fully prepared for the next election.
In my first session serving in the General Assembly, I focused on preserving rural Virginia, regulating data centers, and improving affordability. Among my legislative priorities was a bill to support our farmers, keep agricultural land in production, and advance responsible clean energy generation by defining agrivoltaics in Virginia’s code. I was also proud to champion some of the first ever regulations on data centers in the Commonwealth. My legislation ensures that data centers use the cleanest available technology for backup power and strengthens local control over where these facilities are built—helping put an end to the unchecked, by-right expansion that has made Loudoun County home to the highest concentration of data centers in the world. In total, I passed seven bills—all with bipartisan support—that are now law.
