The District 31 incumbent is a 22 year career politician who has pandered to the conservative right after changing parties in 2021 in a straightforward political calculation after redistricting turned the area even redder.


JJ is running to focus on progressive policies:

  1. Public Schools
  2. Universal Healthcare
  3. Strong labor rights
  4. Climate Justice
  5. Reproductive Freedom
