With momentum growing across the nation and here locally, now is the time to fight back. This year we focus on capturing the energy of the moment and setting us up for success in 2026 and beyond. In Jackson County we have targeted seats to flip Red to Blue including State House seats, a State Senate seat, and County Legislator seats. Working families in Missouri are struggling, and the policies coming from Jefferson City continue to increase the pressure these families face. In addition to helping end the Republican Supermajority in Missouri, we also must turn our attention to voter turnout. Kansas City must be the example for voter turnout if we hope to ever be competitive statewide and continue to pass important votes like Proposition A and Amendment 3, and stop illegal Republican gerrymandering.

Our goals for 2025 include:

  • Opening a permanent office for year-round organizing in Kansas City
  • Re-opening an election year office in Senate District 8
  • Recruiting candidates to fill every state house and county seat
  • Organizing our party at the neighborhood level in our wards and townships
