Thank you for contributing to Ida Obeso-Martinez for State Assembly

As a nurse practitioner, I’ve spent my career listening to people, caring for families, and helping them navigate difficult moments. In that role, I’ve seen so many of the struggles that don’t just happen in a doctor’s office—they happen in our schools, in our workplaces, in our neighborhoods. Parents who work full-time but still can’t afford housing. Seniors who can’t pay for their medications. Young people who feel like their best chance at opportunity is to leave the Valley.

My candidacy and vision for the 36th Assembly District is about building a community where every family in the Coachella and Imperial Valley has the chance to succeed.

That means:

  • Affordable healthcare: making sure no one has to choose between putting food on the table or filling a prescription.

  • Strong schools and job opportunities: so our kids can dream big and stay close to home if they choose.

  • Housing and infrastructure: tackling the high cost of living while investing in the roads, water, and clean energy that will sustain us for generations.

  • Safe neighborhoods: where law enforcement, prevention programs, and mental health services work together to keep our communities strong.
