WinWithGwen County Board of Education Campaign 2026
I am Dr. Gwen Dowdy Rodgers, current President of the San Bernardino County Board of Education. It is with great excitement to announce that I am running for re-election to the San Bernardino County Board of Education Trustee Area D serving San Bernardino, Rialto and Snowline School Districts.
Since being elected to the San Bernardino County Board of Education, I have continued to focus on Consistency, Transparency, Accountability and Community Engagement!
During my tenure the Board of Education has had oversight over clean audits. I have championed and received board support for 21st century board technology, the return of acknowledging our students of the month throughout the county, recognition of our National Board-Certified Teachers in San Bernardino County, efficient board shared governance meetings while, also working to fulfill the approved legislation to expand student voice to include student board members on our county board.
However, there is still more work to do toward continued engagement with the community on awareness of board member roles and expectations to support a better-informed community for our youth by doing more community engagement conversation on the roles of school board members as I continue to support the service of San Bernardino County's 400,000 plus students and their families and that is why I am asking you for your vote on November 3, 2026!
