Congress and the White House have long interfered with decisions from locally elected leaders. As a proud Washingtonian for 16 years, I’ve seen that damage. In 2025, Donald Trump and allies escalated from interference into outright sabotage. They brazenly stole over $1 billion of D.C. residents’ tax money and haven't given it back.
This campaign isn't just about budgets. My neighbors face federal overreach in law enforcement everywhere they go. I'll battle to restore what was unjustly taken and build an autonomous D.C. We need a new generation of leadership, shaped by neighborhoods, driven by urgency, & grounded in lived experience.
