Where were you on September 11th?
Like throngs of New Yorkers, I was walking across the Queensboro Bridge, urgently evacuating Manhattan. As I looked back at the smokey city it hit me, I was going the wrong way. I was meant to serve those in need.
For 23 years, I’ve done just that as a EMT, NYPD and FDNY Firefighter. Through blood, sweat and sacrifice. I know these blocks, these buildings, the challenges we face, and what makes this community amazing. We care for the vulnerable—but Albany must do more. We’re facing a mental health and substance-use crisis, an affordable housing shortage, growing risks to senior services, and lower Manhattan flooding.
With your generous support I will continue to do for District 66 what I only know. To serve.
