Mary Person is a proud native of Emporia, Virginia and has served as an educator in the state for over 26-years.


As the former Mayor and City Council President for Emporia, Mary understands the needs of her community and works to put them first every day.


In the State Legislator, Mary will fight for quality education regardless of zip code, economic opportunity for working class communities, and access to affordable healthcare.
