My name is Chris Gilmer-Hill, and I believe a better world is possible.
I’m proud to be a candidate for State Representative in District 8. I’m a lifelong Detroiter, and my family has called parts of our district home ever since my great-grandma moved up from Louisiana.
We need bold, progressive leaders who are connected to their communities. I came back to work in Detroit after graduating from Harvard because I believe in my hometown, and I'll never stop fighting to take on powerful interests and make things better for everyone.
I believe we need a State Rep who will put people over profits and fight for us - that’s why I’m taking the next step and running to represent our district in Lansing.
Our campaign doesn't take any money from corporate PACs, so we need every dollar to help spread our message.
