Dear Fellow Democrats,

Given what is currently happening in our nation, none of us needs reminding of how important it is to elect more Democrats to local, state, and national offices. However, periodically we do have to remind ourselves of how important it is to support our local Democratic party. Our very reason for existing as a committee is supporting and promoting our Democratic candidates, and this important work costs money. Virtually all of our funds come directly from the contributions of individual party members like you.

This year we will elect statewide offices of Governor, Attorney General and Lieutenant Governor, our House District 39 Member of the General Assembly, local Board of Supervisor members and non-partisan school board members.

Each and every one of you has gifts that can assist us with moving forward. Each year we ask for a voluntary donation of $20 as dues. Many of you step up to the plate and give more. Some of our members give a monthly donation here through Act Blue, which greatly assists our ability to budget efficiently. If you are so inclined, it's a simple and convenient way to know you are helping this very important work. Others give us the gift of their presence, making thousands of phone calls and knocking hundreds of doors. There are those who make desserts, design shirts, and help set up and clean for events. Some of you have the gift of leadership, and can even contribute through running for office. For those who choose to do so, we are fully committed to providing you with our full support and all the resources we can muster.

Ultimately, each of you has contributed so much, and for that we are thankful. Help us to continue pushing the needle forward and standing for progress.
